I decided I have waited long enough. I needed to start finding goodies to put in my son’s Easter basket. The last few years I’ve started a tradition of buying the chocolate for his basket at Coblentz Chocolates. Have you ever heard of or been to Coblentz Chocolates? It is the best chocolate that I have ever had, and lucky for me I live within walking distance of the store. Now that I’m typing, I regret not taking pictures of the store while I was over there. I must say it is a treat for the senses. The visual displays, the smells, and the tastes…yes they have free samples.
I gathered up some treats for Cade to take to school for his classmates.
I found some treats for the Easter Basket.
I have never been a fan of Peeps. I don’t know why but they have just never appealed to me. However, I found chocolate covered Peeps today at Coblentz’s and thought I needed to try them. They will go in Cade’s Easter basket, but I’m hoping he will share. Don’t these just look yummy?
These are a few other items I will be putting in his Easter basket this year:
- Sketch Book & Journal
- Bath Bombs (you know, they fizz like alka seltzer when you drop them in the bath water, and they smell so yummy)
- Jelly Beans
Do you make an Easter basket for your kids? What are some of the things you put in it? I would love to hear all about your ideas for unique Easter baskets.
The opinions here are mine. I was not paid for this post. Although if they would like to pay me, I would work for chocolate.
